For hundreds of years the thrill and prestige of being a racehorse owner has been out of reach for most!

In recent times there have been many new options to change that.

Unfortunately most are not a true representation of ownership, very poor value and are no more than money making schemes.

A major downside to owning a racehorse can be the cost of monthly training fees for poor prize money, with the risk of injury resulting in huge vets bills & being left with nothing after paying for the horse initially.

99.9% of owners do not show a profit.

We could not be further removed from some of these highly advertised celebrity endorsed money making schemes that can number 50,000 shares representing a 0.002% holding which is nonsense !

You do not own anything or have an equitable stake so essentially you are paying a subscription.

Some are quoted as stating you get a "chance to visit the racing yard" and are entered into a ballot to get an owners badge for which you often have a 1 in 6250 chance !

A highly successful market leader offers very transparent & in our opinion very good shares, But are at entirely different pricing level & could be looked at quite expensive for someone of average or even higher income.

Eg: A 2.5% share in a horse that cost 42k gns would typically be around £1500 upfront and £110 per month in training fees.

So what is the answer?

This is where we differ as our pricing structure is at a far lower cost as we want to make ownership accessible to the majority.

By using our connection to Mount Farm Stud we have been able to structure an exclusive owners package that is similar to the best already available but at a fraction of the cost.

This owners package is unequalled in racing.

Giving unlimited interest and many days out at the Races, The Sales, Stud visits and much much more.

With shares starting from under £1 per day per 1% with no hidden extras, protection against injury & no upfront share charge there is simply no other ownership package that can compete!

We are very privileged to work closely with Mount Farm Stud.

From their broodmare portfolio they select a few horses each year that will go into racing.

We have managed to negotiate very good terms with them for ownership & they have agreed to protect us against any long term or career ending injuries.

This is essential for us to be able to maintain our pricing structure as the most competitive around.

The doors at Mount Farm Stud are always open for owners to visit and see the new born foals and youngstock coming through.

BECOME AN OWNER
Sorellina Racing Partnership offer real ownership for under the price of a coffee per day!

Each horse in training is priced exactly the same.
A 2.5% share is £17.50 per week, £75 per month or £850 per year.

A 5% share is £30 per week, £125 per month or £1450 per year.

A 10% share is £50 per week, £210 per month or £2350 per year.

All shares of 5% and above can be split between multiple horses if required.

Family and friends can benefit from multiple share discounts by joining together.

This is an all inclusive price with no hidden training or vets bills.

Your time of ownership will only be when your horse is in full training.

If your horse is injured at any time or on a break, this time will be added to your ownership.

If there is the issue of a long term injury you will always be given the option to transfer your share into another horse.

All owners are registered with the British Horseracing Authority

You will get your share of win and place prize money along with raceday ticket allocation & a percentage of re sale income.

All win and place prize money is distributed as a pool.
Percentage owned and the time owned is factored in and calculated annually.

Eg: If annual prize money is 100k and and owner has a 2.5% share for the whole year they would recieve £2500.

If an owner also has a 2.5% share but only for 6 months they would recieve £1250.

This way is fair and clear for everyone. It has no advantage or disadvantage to you owning any of the horses.

You simply select how many shares you want & which horse or horses you like.

We encourage you to visit the horses before you select.

Please call for an upto date list of shares availability and trainers.

SOLE OWNERSHIP

This involves the initial purchase cost of the horse & vetting.

Average training cost are 30k per year plus race entry, jockey bookings, veterinary & transport costs.

BHA registration & associated fees.

SYNDICATES

Syndicates now have to have a licenced manager.

Only 2 members of a syndicate need to be registered with the BHA and can number into the thousands!

RACING CLUB

This is an annual membership a subscription to a club that can number into the tens of thousands.

There is no registration BHA for members and you do not own the horse or horses.

Like Syndicates Racing Clubs must have a licenced manager.

RACING PARTNERSHIPS

The closest option to Sole Ownership and can represent very good value.

A Racing Partnership can number from 2 to 200 but all owners must be registered with the BHA.

In our opinion the mental and physical development is still far from complete in most 2yos. For this reason we are very selective on the 2yos we run. We hope all owners understand that we give every horse the time it needs as they are individuals. All benefit from being treated as such and go on to lead healthier & longer careers. Patience is the key to all horses!

ALL OF MY HEART

A 5yo mare by Telescope Ex A Star In My Eye. Given an outing in a NH bumper late in 2025 for experience this mare will be campaigned over 1m4f to 2m spring and summer 2026 mainly in the south of England.

LETS GIVE IT A GO

A 2yo filly by the record breaking St Leger winner Logician Ex Queen of Deauville. This filly is currently in pre training and will take a well earned break this summer before her debut in spring 2027.

DONTLEAVEMETHISWAY

A substantial 2yo filly that is by Logician Ex Tameemah. This filly is very special to us as she was brought up by a foster mare called (Molly) after losing her mum at birth. She really is a firm favourite with everyone and looks like she will be a distance horse in time. Currently in Pre training she will spend the summer in the paddocks before a debut in spring 2027. From an outstanding Shadwell page she is a very exciting prospect.

MYRTLE LADY

A 2yo half sister to What Silence Knows. By Mayson Ex Hanati. She will be seen racing over 6f to 8f this summer. She is currently in Pre training and will spend this summer in the paddocks before a debut in spring 2027.

You Make It Heaven

A 2yo filly by G1 producing stallion Massaat out of Banana Split This very quick filly has had some pre training this year and will go into full training after spending the summer in the paddocks.

Waiting List
As most of our horses do not race until they are 3yos.
We operate a waiting list where you can be part of your chosen horse from as young as 6-9 months old.
There is no charge for this period as payments are only made when your horse is in full training.
We simply charge a £100 deposit which is deducted from your first training payments once your horse goes into full training.
You will be able to visit your horse at any stage of its development and will be kept upto date with newsletters and pictures.
You will be covered by our insurance so if anything should happen to your horse during its development you can chose to go into another horse.
No other form of ownership offers this sort of involvement or secure cover.
News
02/06/26  - All Of My Heart will debut on the flat in the next 2 weeks closely followed by Lets Give It A Go.
All Of My Heart may struggle to find a suitable race until she gets a handicap mark.
Being an older horse that wants a longer distance race the races are far and few between.
What Silence Knows should find it easier as she will run over shorter trips and is younger.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the races.

03/06/26 - We sadly said goodbye to Banana Split today after losing a long battle with a foot injury.
She has left us with a 2yo filly and a beautiful colt foal who is now with his foster mum.
Even in unbelievable pain she looked after her foal till the end which gave him a great chance.
She was a firm favourite and will be greatly missed.

David Lee

Former Chelsea FC Player

Having known the Sorellina team for over 20 years & enjoyed many days at the races with them. I think Sorellina Racing is a great way to get involved in racing and meet new people for a very reasonable cost. I couldnt wait to become and owner and look forward to meeting all the other owners at the races and social days.
